You do not have to be diagnosed to attend this course.
In our six-week course, we will embark on an in-depth exploration of executive functioning and its impact on daily life. Through this journey, we will identify the specific challenges that arise from different neurobiologies, including Autism and other neurodivergent conditions. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the underlying reasons for these struggles, which are often rooted in the unique ways our brains process information and manage tasks.
The course will cover various strategies and tools to manage executive functioning difficulties. We will delve into assistive technologies that can streamline tasks and enhance organization, as well as techniques for effective time management and planning. Participants will also learn to communicate their needs and advocate for reasonable adjustments in personal and professional settings.
A key aspect of the course is the creation of a supportive community. By connecting with others with similar experiences, participants can exchange tips, share successes, and provide mutual encouragement. This group dynamic will foster a sense of belonging and collective growth, ultimately leading to increased confidence and independence in managing executive functioning challenges.
